Our factory is located right on N/H 8-B in Navagam, not too far from the Audi showroom. Being near the highway is handy for getting our stuff out to other cities. We’ve been here at Senso Foods for several years now. It’s a big, open area with a lot of dust from the road, but the building itself is kept pretty clean because we handle food. We make premixes and things like that. It’s a lot of machinery and stainless steel inside. The noise of the packing machines is something you just get used to after a while. We have a lot of local workers from the Navagam area. We aren't some distant corporate entity. We’re right there on the floor most of the day. The sun beats down pretty hard on the roof in the summer, making it quite warm inside. We usually have a lot of tea and coffee breaks to keep everyone going. It’s a fast-paced environment when a big order comes in. We don't spend much time on fancy emails or meetings. We’d rather be checking the batches or making sure the scales are calibrated right. It’s a practical business. We started small and just kept adding more machines as we needed them. It’s just a regular workplace where people work hard and try to get things right every day. The highway noise is constant, like a background hum that you eventually stop hearing. We see the big sign every day for our shift.
