Om Krupa Art Center

Om Krupa Art Center is located right on Mavdi Main Road, just across from the fire station. If you see the fire trucks, you’re basically there at 1-Divya Park. It’s a busy area and the noise from the road never really stops. Inside, we’ve got art supplies and frames everywhere. It’s a bit of a mess to be honest, with scraps of wood and bits of glass in the corners, but that’s how a real art shop should look. We do a lot of custom work for people who want to hang their pictures or paintings. Some days we are buried in framing jobs and the glue takes forever to dry. We try our best to get everything done on time, though sometimes we get a bit behind when the shop gets crowded. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the local artists and the hobbyists who come in for brushes and paints. We aren't experts at everything, but we know enough to help you pick out a decent frame that won't fall apart. It’s a small shop and we have to squeeze past each other in the aisles. People like the vibe though. It’s not like those big chain stores where everything is in plastic. Here, you can actually touch the materials and see what you're getting. It’s a decent living for us and we enjoy seeing the finished art.
