Mirupur Primary School

If you’re driving down Kalawad Road, you probably know where Nalanda Society is. Our school, Mirupur Primary, is tucked away at number 4, a place called Jash. It’s a primary school, so things are usually pretty loud and energetic around here from Monday to Friday. We’ve been part of the Rajkot community for quite some time. Being on Kalawad Road means it’s easy for parents to drop their kids off on the way to work, though traffic can be a headache sometimes. The building isn't huge, but we make use of every bit of space we have for the kids. It’s mostly just the local families from the society and the nearby streets who come here. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place where children come to learn their basics and play during recess. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the little ones and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next morning. Sometimes it feels like a bit of a whirlwind with so many young kids running about, but that’s just how a primary school is. We keep things pretty simple. There’s no big corporate office or anything like that, just us teachers and the staff making sure the day runs okay. It’s a local spot for local people who just need a school close by for their little ones to attend.
