Kidzee Preschool is right here in Kherdi. It’s a small place where the local kids come to spend their mornings. We have a few rooms filled with colorful mats, toys, and drawings on the walls. It gets pretty loud once the children arrive, but that’s to be expected. We spend our time watching over them and teaching the basics, like letters and numbers, but mostly we just make sure they are having a bit of fun. The building isn't huge, but it has enough space for them to run around a little. We have a small yard outside where they play when the weather is nice. Kherdi is a quiet village, so the school is a bit of a hub for the parents around here. We know almost everyone in the neighborhood. Some of the teachers have been here since the start. It’s not a fancy private academy with a huge gate; it’s just a friendly spot for the little ones. Sometimes the toys get broken and we have to fix them with tape, and the paint on the walls is peeling a bit in the corners. We try to keep it tidy, but with kids around, there’s always a bit of a mess. We don't have a big administration, just a few of us looking after the classes. It’s a simple life at the preschool, and we like it that way. Most days we end up with glitter or glue on our clothes by the time we go home.
