Marshal Electric Company

You can find Marshal Electric Company right across from the Mehta Building on Rajdev Street. We are situated near Sanganwa Chowk, which is a pretty well-known part of town. The street gets quite busy during the day with all the traffic and people moving around. Our shop isn't hard to spot once you get to the intersection. We’ve got shelves full of various electrical parts and bits that people need for repairs or building things. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. Sometimes the boxes pile up near the back, but we know where everything is. It’s mostly just us here, helping whoever walks through the door. We don't spend money on fancy displays. We just put the items where they fit. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us. It’s a lot of standing and talking to customers about what they’re trying to fix. We don't have a big corporate structure, just a small business on a busy street. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we just wait it out like everyone else. It’s a simple operation. We open the shutters in the morning and close them up at night. The work is steady and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We like being part of the Sanganwa Chowk community and seeing the familiar faces on Rajdev Street every day.
