You can find Chhayani Hardware right on the Main Road in Kotharia Gaon. We are very close to the Nageshwar Mahadev Mandir, which is where most people give as a reference when they are looking for us. Our shop is the kind of place where you can find all the basic bits and pieces you need for your house or farm. We don’t have an air-conditioned showroom or a bunch of people in uniforms. It’s just a local hardware store where we keep things simple. A lot of our day is spent helping people figure out which bolt fits what or finding a tool they haven't seen in years. The Main Road can get quite dusty with the tractors and cars going past, but we keep the shop open anyway. Sometimes the local elders sit outside for a bit of shade and a chat. We’ve lived in this village for a long time, so we know most of the families who come in. It’s not just about selling a hammer or a bucket; it’s about being part of the daily life here. We don’t have a website or a big marketing plan. People know where we are and they know we’ll try our best to help them find what they need. It’s a quiet existence compared to the city, and we prefer it that way. The mandir bells in the evening are a nice way to end the workday.
