We are based at Sri Nathaji Krpua, which is located very close to the ST Bus Depo in Wankaner. Being near the bus depot means there is a constant sound of engines and horns all day long. It’s a busy part of town. Our office is a simple building where we keep all our construction records and project plans. We have a lot of boots lined up by the door because we are always going out to various sites. The floors are rarely clean because someone is always bringing in dirt or mud. We have a small area where we sit and drink tea while we discuss what needs to be done for the day. It’s not a polished environment. There are stacks of bricks and some equipment parked in the back. We have a few old wooden desks and some very heavy filing cabinets. Wankaner is a small enough place that we know most of the people who pass by. We just get on with our construction work and try to stay on schedule. It is hard work, but we are used to it. We don't have any flashy signs or a lobby. People just walk in the side door if they need to see us. The wall calendar is still stuck on last month because nobody has bothered to flip it over yet. We just keep track of the days on our phones instead.
