If you are driving down Gondal Road, you know how busy it gets, especially near the Gurukul Temple. We are right across from it, tucked away in Vit Bhavan near the Ankur Complex. Kasuma Auto Engineering (P) Ltd. has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. The office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and some auto parts sitting on the side tables. We hear the temple bells sometimes when the traffic dies down for a minute. It’s a practical space. We don't spend much on decorations because the work happens in the back. Most of us have been here for years, so we know where every tool is kept. The humidity can get a bit much in the afternoons, so the fans stay on high. We deal with a lot of local drivers and mechanics who stop by. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There is always the sound of metal clanking or someone shouting over the noise of a machine. We handle the engineering side of things and try to keep up with the demand. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in. It’s just how the auto business works on this side of town. We grab lunch from the stalls nearby and get right back to it.
