Hotel Harmony

If you stand outside at Limda Chowk, you can see us right across from Shastri Maidan. It is a busy spot in Rajkot, always full of rickshaws and people walking to the park. Our building sits right there on the corner. We spend a lot of time sweeping the dust that comes off the road. It’s just part of life here. Inside, we try to keep things calm. It’s tough. The rooms are basic with just the furniture you need. We don’t have those big fancy lobbies you see in movies. It’s more of a place where you check in, drop your bags, and go do your business in the city. Many of our guests are here for work, so they are gone all day. We see them in the evening when they come back tired. We’ve been at this address for years, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. More shops have opened up, and the traffic has gotten heavier. We just keep doing our daily routine. I usually start the day checking the kitchen supplies and seeing if any light bulbs need changing. It is a simple life running a hotel like Harmony. We don't make big promises, we just give you a room and a key. We usually close the main gate late at night after the last train comes in. Sometimes we sit on the porch and just watch the cars go by until it finally gets quiet.
