Hotel Shreeji

We have been running Hotel Shreeji here in Surendranagar for quite a while now. Being right near the S T Bus Station means there is always someone coming or going at odd hours. It gets pretty busy around here, especially in the early mornings when the first buses start rolling into the station. My brother and I take turns at the front desk, and sometimes our cousin helps out too if he is not busy with his own work. We do not have any fancy decorations or things like that. It is just rooms with beds and a place to wash up after a long day of travel. Most people who stay with us are just passing through for work or visiting their family members in the city. We try to keep the floors swept and the linens changed regularly, though the dust from the road always finds a way in. It is a plain building, nothing that stands out much from the street, but it works for what it is. Surendranagar can get quite hot in the summer months, so people usually just want a fan and some cold water when they check in. We spend a lot of time just sitting out front when it is quiet, watching the traffic go by the bus station. It is a simple life running a place like this. We know all the neighbors and the tea stall guy around the corner. If you need a spot to sleep, this is where we are.
