Hotel Kavery

Hotel Kavery is on Kanak Road, right near the G.E.B office. It’s a central spot in Rajkot, so everything feels like it’s just a short walk or a quick rickshaw ride away. The hotel has been standing here for quite some time, and you can tell by the way the stairs are worn and how the layout is set up. It’s a functional building meant for people who are traveling and need a place to park themselves for a night or two. We don't have any big gardens or fancy lounges. Usually, the reception is a bit cluttered with papers and registers, which is just how we work. The street outside, Kanak Road, is always moving, so there’s a constant hum of the city that you can hear from the windows. Our rooms are basic and we try to keep them as tidy as possible with fresh sheets and working fans. We spend our days mostly handling the check-outs and getting things ready for the next person who shows up. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't put on any acts or try to sound like a five-star place. We are just a local hotel near the power station office. People know us for being where we are and for being dependable enough for a quick stay. We just keep the doors unlocked and the lights on for whoever needs them.
