Manohar Hotel

If you find yourself in Upleta, over in Rajkot, come down to Raj Marg. We are located on Adarsh School Street, right in the Lati Plot area. Being near the Municipal College means we see a lot of students walking by with their bags and books. Manohar Hotel isn't a place with room service and bellboys. We are more of a local eatery where you can get a solid meal. The street outside is usually busy with people heading to the school or the college. We have been here in this part of Rajkot for years, and the building shows its age a bit, but that’s okay. The tables are wooden and the chairs have seen a lot of use. We open up early and don't close until the late evening crowd thins out. It can get pretty loud when the college lets out and everyone wants to eat at the same time. We don't have a big fancy menu, just the things we know how to make well. The kitchen is small but we keep it moving as fast as we can. Sometimes the dust from the Raj Marg road blows in, but we just wipe the tables and keep going. It’s a place for the community, really. You see the same faces every day, from the teachers at the school to the shopkeepers next door. We like the rhythm of this street and the people who walk it.
