Hotel The Grand Regency

We are Hotel The Grand Regency, right over on Dhebar Road. If you know where the Mehta Petrol Pump is, then you’ve basically found us. We are just a short walk from there. It’s a handy spot for people traveling through since they can fuel up their cars and then just pull in here. Dhebar Road is always moving. There’s a lot of traffic and noise during the day, which keeps things interesting. We’ve been running the hotel for a while and we’ve seen all sorts of guests. Some are businessmen who are always on their phones, and others are families visiting relatives nearby. The building is solid, though we probably need to paint the front again soon. Inside, it’s just normal rooms with normal furniture. Nothing fancy or over the top. We spend our mornings checking the laundry and making sure the water is running hot for the guests. Sometimes we run out of tea in the afternoon, but there’s a shop nearby if that happens. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes when everyone checks in at once, but we manage. My brother helps out at the desk and my cousin handles the cleaning. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one on this side of the road. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We have been part of the landscape here for years.
