Dedania Overseas

Our setup is at 'Rhythm', which is at 32-Suryakirtinagar-1. We are right behind the G.H. Board and quite close to Rushikesh Vidyalaya. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, which is nice because it keeps the distractions down. At Dedania Overseas, we handle a lot of shipping and international trade stuff. There’s always a stack of customs forms or shipping labels sitting on the front desk. It’s a small operation, so we all wear many hats. One minute someone is on an international call, and the next they are taping up a box. We don’t have any fancy branding or a big sign. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they know the neighborhood well. The office feels more like a home that turned into a workspace over time. We have a small tea corner that gets a lot of use. We don’t talk in corporate jargon here. If a shipment is late, we just say it’s late and try to find out why. It’s a very direct way of doing things. We’ve been in Suryakirtinagar for a long time, and we like the pace of life here. It’s just us, some computers, and a lot of logistics to figure out every morning. Sometimes the dog from next door wanders in, but we don't mind the company while we work. We just keep the boxes moving and stay on top of the paperwork as best as we can. It’s a simple life.
