Central Engineering Exports

Our workshop is located at the Bhakti Nagar Station Plot, right near the tracks. You can hear the trains passing by while we work, which you get used to after a week or so. We’ve been at this spot for years, and the post box 540 has seen plenty of mail over that time. We handle engineering parts and exports, which sounds complicated, but it’s really just about getting the right pieces to the right people. The floor is usually covered in some metal shavings and a bit of oil. We have a small crew here. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to talk much to get things done. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking specs. We aren’t a huge corporation with fancy suits. It’s mostly just grease-stained shirts and sturdy boots around here. When an order comes in for a client far away, we spend the afternoon packing things into wooden crates. It’s honest work. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half a day fixing a lathe, but that’s just how it goes in engineering. We make sure the parts are solid before they leave the station plot. It's a loud place, but it's where we feel most comfortable. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the technical stuff.
