Riverbay Restorts

Out here in Sree Ram Nagar, things move at their own pace. We have the resort set up in Rajahmundry and it takes a lot of work to keep everything running. Mohammad Ibrahim is usually around making sure the grounds are kept up. It’s a big property on Door No. 16-2-11/1 and there is always something that needs fixing or a room that needs a quick once-over. People come here for all sorts of reasons, maybe a wedding or just a family wanting to get out of the house for a bit. The weather gets really hot in East Godavari, so we spend a lot of time checking the air conditioning units and the water levels. We have some staff who have been here for years and they know the place inside out. It’s not a corporate chain where everything is perfect, but we try to keep the place clean and welcoming. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to get the generators going, which is just part of living in this part of Andhra Pradesh. We sit in the office and handle the guest books and the phone calls. It can be noisy when there is a big group, but usually, it is just the sound of the wind or the traffic from the main road. We are just doing our thing day by day, making sure the guests have what they need and the place stays in order.
