Data Entry Operator

I work out of Srungavarapadu Village. It's a small place in the Sakhinethipaly Mandalam area of East Godavari. Most of my day is spent sitting in front of a computer screen. I handle a lot of data, typing in numbers and names into spreadsheets for different projects. It's not the most exciting work, but it is steady. My setup is simple. I have a desk and a chair that I’ve had for years. Sometimes the power goes out in the village, and I have to wait for it to come back on to finish my work. It can be frustrating when there’s a deadline. I grew up around here, so everyone knows what I do. People sometimes come by to ask for help with their own paperwork or to print something out for their kids. I don't mind helping when I can. The air is better here than in the big cities, even if the internet can be a bit slow sometimes during the rains. I usually start working after breakfast and keep going until the light fades. There isn't a big office building or a sign out front. It's just me in my room doing the tasks that come in. I’ve learned to be fast with my fingers on the keyboard. Occasionally, I have to travel to the main town for supplies, but mostly I’m right here in East Godavari Dgt. It’s a quiet life, just processing information and making sure files are saved.
