My office is located in G-1 of the Srinivasa Apartments. We are right in the Prakashnagar neighborhood of Rajahmundry. If you know where the Goli Ramarao Hospital is, we are just directly opposite that. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows the hospital. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to find us without having to climb any stairs. I handle the assistant HR tasks here, which mostly means a lot of folders, phone calls, and meetings in the small front room. The apartment building is fairly standard for this part of town. You hear the sounds of the city and the hospital traffic all day long. Sometimes I step out to the balcony area just to get some fresh air. It isn't a corporate skyscraper, just a converted apartment space where we get our work done. The walls are painted a plain color and we have a few desks squeezed in. People come by for interviews or to drop off their resumes. We try to keep things organized but it gets cluttered with files sometimes. Rajahmundry is growing fast, so there are always new people moving into the area. It’s a steady pace of work. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat at my desk while looking out at the street. Sometimes the neighbors from upstairs come by to chat. It is a very normal office environment without any big corporate rules.
