Seml

If you head out to Siltara, you will find Seml. It is located right in the middle of the industrial belt. The area is quite different from the city, with a lot of heavy trucks and large factories everywhere you look. Our place is a big, practical site designed for hard work. There is always a layer of dust on the vehicles outside because of all the activity in Siltara. Inside the main gates, it is a busy environment with people moving around in work clothes and heavy boots. We don't have a polished front office with fancy furniture. Instead, we have a functional space where we handle the logs and the paperwork. The sound of machinery is the background noise of our lives here. It’s a tough environment, especially when the sun is beating down on the steel structures. We start our shifts early to beat the worst of the heat. Most of our meetings happen standing up on the floor rather than in a boardroom. We’ve been operating from this Siltara location for many years. It’s a gritty place, but that is just the nature of what we do. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just a site where a lot of heavy tasks get done every single day. We are part of the landscape here, and we just keep the operations going at Seml.
