Dr. Radha Krishnan Higher Secondary School is located in the Gudhiyari area of Raipur. Our address is Raipur-Chhattisgarh - 492011. The school has been around for quite a few years, so the building looks a bit worn in places, but it serves its purpose well. We have students from all over the Gudhiyari neighborhood. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of shops and houses nearby. Every morning, the streets around the school get filled with kids in their uniforms. We have classrooms for primary, middle, and higher secondary students, so there’s a wide range of ages here. The building has several floors and the hallways are usually full of movement. We have a staff room where the teachers sit during their free periods to check homework and have a bit of a break. The playground is a simple open space where we do the morning prayers and some basic physical training. It can get very hot in Raipur, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as we can with ceiling fans. Parents are always coming in and out of the main office to talk to the staff. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology, just the standard school equipment that we’ve used for years. It’s a very grounded, local school where everyone knows each other. We just keep things moving along and focus on the daily tasks of running a school in Chhattisgarh.
