Nawlakha Computers

If you walk down Cafe Coffee Day Road in Chhotapara, you’ll find Nawlakha Computers right opposite the masjid. Our shop isn't very large, mostly just a couple of workbenches and shelves filled with spare parts and old monitors. We spend the majority of our time hunched over keyboards or fixing broken laptop hinges. Chhotapara is a lively neighborhood, and we’ve become a regular part of the street over the years. We started this business because we have a knack for fixing things that others might just throw away. There is no receptionist here; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free at the moment. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside and the calls to prayer from across the street, but we don't mind the atmosphere. We keep some basic things in stock like cables, mice, and power adapters for people who need a quick fix. We don't have a big marketing strategy or any corporate goals. We just want to make sure the computers that come in leave here working properly. Sometimes we have a lot of machines waiting for parts, and the shop can get a bit cluttered. We aren't trying to be the biggest tech hub in the city. We are just a local spot where you can get your gear looked at by people who know what they are doing. We stay open late most nights because that's when most people have time to drop off their stuff.
