Directorate Horticulture And Farm Forestry, Chattisgarh

We're based on the 4th floor of Block 2 in the Indrawati Bhawan building over here in Naya. If you've ever been to the HOD building, that's where you'll find the Directorate Horticulture And Farm Forestry, Chattisgarh. It is usually pretty busy around here. People come in and out all day dealing with stuff related to trees and farming across the state. The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular government space with desks and lots of paperwork. Sometimes the elevators take a while since we're up on the fourth floor. We spend most of our time looking at maps or talking to folks about their land. It gets hot in the afternoons but the building stays okay. Most of us have been working here for a long time. It’s a bit of a maze if you don't know where you're going, but once you find Block 2 it’s straightforward. We see a lot of people from different districts every week. It is just a normal office job but it matters for the local farms. Some days are quieter than others when people are out in the field. There is always tea going around somewhere in the back. We just keep things moving along as best as we can. Being in Naya means the area is still growing quite a bit around the building. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else. It is just how we operate day to day.
