Bagadiya Brothers

We’ve been here at Bagadiya Mansion in Jawahar Nagar for a long time. The building is old but it stays sturdy. It’s a family-run kind of place, and you can feel that when you walk through the doors. There isn't a big sign out front, just the name of the mansion. We spend our days mostly handling whatever comes across the desk. The floors are stone and they stay cool even when it gets really hot outside in the summer months. Jawahar Nagar is a neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. You see the same faces every morning when you arrive and every evening when you leave for home. We keep things pretty simple around here. There’s no fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a few rooms where we sit and manage the business. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside in the trees. We have some old wooden furniture that’s been here since the start. It is reliable and does the job. Usually, we eat lunch together at the big table in the back room. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, with new shops opening up nearby, but the mansion stays pretty much the same as it ever was. It’s our base of operations and it works for us. We don't need much else besides a working phone and enough space to think.
