We are located at Guru Krupa Apartments in Khandeshwar, New Panvel. Specifically, we are in Sector 8 on Plot 25. Being out here in Panvel means we are a bit away from the main city rush of Mumbai, which is alright by us. Marline Marine Services is a small operation. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer dealing with ships and marine equipment. It’s not the kind of job you see on TV; it’s mostly technical details and making sure parts get where they need to go. Our office is basically a flat that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s a bit tight when we have all the files out, but it works for what we do. Khanda Colony is a decent area, mostly families around, so it stays pretty quiet during the day except for the occasional delivery truck. We aren't trying to be some giant global corporation with fancy slogans. We just know our way around marine logistics and we’ve been doing it from this spot for a while now. Sometimes the internet acts up or the monsoon rain makes the commute a mess, but we still manage to get the work done. It’s just a few of us here, keeping track of things and talking to vendors. We stay busy with the day-to-day stuff that comes with this industry. It is just honest work.
