If you head over to the Midcttc Industrial Area in Nerul, you’ll find us at D-138 in the Shirvane section. Aura International Pvt Ltd isn’t a very complicated operation. We’ve got our office and our storage space all squeezed into this one unit. Being in Navi Mumbai, we get a lot of that coastal air, which is nice, though it doesn't do much for the heat inside the warehouse. The vibe here is pretty laid back but busy. There’s usually a lot of paperwork to deal with, and the phone seems to ring at the most inconvenient times. We aren't the type to wear suits and ties; it’s more about comfortable shoes and shirts that can handle a bit of dust. Most of us commute from different parts of the city, so the morning starts with everyone complaining about the trains or the traffic on the highway. Once we settle in, it’s all about checking orders and making sure everything is where it should be. We’ve got some neighbors who do heavy manufacturing, so there’s always a background hum of noise coming from the other units. We’ve been here long enough that the local chai wallah knows our orders by heart. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t have a lot of big corporate rules; we just try to be honest and get the work done before the weekend rolls around. It is just the way we like to operate.
