Zameer Shaikh

Zameer Shaikh here. My spot is over in Nigdi Pradhikaran, specifically Sec 27/A, Plot No 200 in Ruston Colony. Pune is growing so fast, but this area still feels a bit more settled than the newer parts of town. I chose this location because it’s easy to get to and it’s a decent place to work from. The colony is usually quiet in the afternoons, which is when I get most of my thinking and heavy lifting done. I don’t have a big flashy sign out front. It’s more of a place where you come if you already know what you’re looking for. I’ve been at this plot for a good while now. Every morning I walk in, move a few things around, and see what the schedule looks like. Some days the phone doesn't stop, and other days I just spend time tidying up and catching up on paperwork. It isn't a high-pressure office. It’s just me and a couple of local guys helping out when the workload gets heavy. Being in Ruston Colony means I see the same neighbors every day. We all kind of look out for each other. I try not to make things more complicated than they need to be. I provide what people ask for and try to keep things moving. It’s a local business run by local people who actually live around here.
