We are based in the Annex, D904, over in Magarpatta City. It’s a big IT hub, so there are people everywhere during the day. Our office is on one of the higher floors, so we get a decent view of the other buildings. Aretha Database Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is basically a bunch of us sitting in front of screens most of the day. We work on data stuff, which sounds a bit boring to most people, but it keeps us busy. The office is mostly open-plan, so you can hear everyone talking and typing. We have a small pantry where we keep some snacks and a coffee machine that gets used way too much. The air conditioning is always a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even when it's hot outside. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for too long, and we all just want to get back to our work. Magarpatta is a nice place to work because there are plenty of food options nearby when we don't feel like bringing lunch. The security at the gate can be a bit strict about badges, but that’s just how it is here. We try to keep things relaxed in the office, but when there's a deadline, everyone gets pretty focused. It’s a lot of staring at numbers and code until things finally work the way they should. We have a few plants around the office, but we keep forgetting to water them regularly.
