Zala Hospital

Zala Hospital is situated in the Neelkanth Darshan CHS building, right along the Old Mumbai Pune Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so we get a lot of people stopping in who are just passing through, along with our regulars from the local neighborhood. Running a hospital in a residential building complex like Neelkanth Darshan has its own rhythm. It feels more like a community spot than a big, scary institution. We have been here for quite some time now. The rooms are set up to handle different needs, and we try to keep things as calm as possible despite the traffic noise outside. I spend a lot of my time making sure the staff has what they need and that the patients are being looked after properly. It’s not always easy, and some days are much longer than others. The lobby is a bit small, so it can feel crowded when families come to visit. We just make do with the space we have. The location on the Old Mumbai Pune Road is very convenient for people who live nearby. I often see the same people walking their dogs or going to the shops nearby. It’s a practical place for a hospital. We don't have marble floors or gold-plated signs. It’s just a solid, working hospital where we do our best to take care of the people who walk through our doors every day. We hope to stay here.
