I am Yuvraj Arun and you can find me down at the Dhanakawadi Grain Market. It is a loud place, full of trucks and people carrying heavy sacks all day. I have been here since I was a lot younger. The market has its own rhythm that you have to get used to. If you come too late in the morning, it is hard to move around because of all the activity. I usually get in early before the sun is fully up. My spot isn't very large, just enough room for the essentials and a place to sit. It smells like dust and dried grain everywhere, which I’ve grown to like over the years. My family has been around this area for a long time. People know me by name, and I know most of them too. We don't use a lot of technology here, mostly just notebooks and pens. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the rain makes the ground muddy and the trucks get stuck, which causes a lot of shouting. It’s all part of the life here at the market. I spend most of my day talking to traders and checking on things. It's not a clean job, you get dirt under your fingernails, but it's honest. When the market closes for the day, it gets strangely quiet. I like that time too. I pack up my things and head home, ready to do it all again tomorrow.
