Advocate Deepak V Dhamdhere

It is usually quiet in our part of Talegaon Dhamdhere until the morning rush starts. Our office is tucked away in J Block of Ajanta Nagar, where things are a bit more relaxed than the city center. Most days here are spent looking over papers and talking to folks who stop by with their problems. We’ve been at this address for a while now, seeing how the neighborhood has changed around us. There is always a lot of walking back and forth between desks and the front door. Sometimes the tea guy comes late, and that’s when you really feel the afternoon slump. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a big lobby. It's just a place where work gets done. People usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them where J Block was. It can get a bit dusty with the windows open, but we like the fresh air. The filing cabinets are getting pretty full, which I guess is a good sign that we stay busy. It’s not a complicated life. We open up early, deal with the legal matters at hand, and try to finish before it gets too dark outside. Sometimes clients stay late talking, and we don't mind that much. It’s just how things go in a local office like ours. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers around Ajanta Nagar pretty well by now and that makes the day go by faster.
