Yash Mens Parlour

Yash Mens Parlour is located right on Erandwane Road at number 20. We are quite easy to find since we are very close to the Mehendale Garage. The shop is a small, straightforward place where guys from the Erandwane neighborhood come to get a hair cut or a quick shave. We have a few older chairs that have been with us for years and a large mirror that has seen better days. It gets very busy on Sunday mornings when everyone is off from work and looking to tidy up. Usually, we have a cricket match playing on the small television in the corner or just some local music on the radio. If there is a wait, people just sit on the bench we kept outside. This isn't one of those modern salons with bright neon lights and expensive products. It is just a regular barber shop. We know most of the men who walk through the door by their first names because they have been coming to us for a long time. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so someone is always busy with a broom. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to talk about the local news even if they don't need a haircut that day. Parking can be a bit of a headache near the garage, but people manage. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It is a simple life and we like it that way.
