Our business, Walhekar Enterprises, is located at number 26 on Chandlodia Road. We are right next to the Market Yard, so it’s a very busy and loud area. There are always people moving sacks and boxes around. Our place is basically a warehouse with a small desk tucked in the corner. We deal in various goods and supplies that the local traders need. It’s not a fancy office at all. The floor is concrete and there is usually a bit of dust in the air from the trucks passing by. We don't have any staff in uniforms or a big reception desk. It’s just us handling the orders as they come in. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or checking the stock in the back. The building is a bit old, and the roof leaks a little when it rains heavily, but we’ve managed. We don't do any big promotions or advertising. Most people know us through word of mouth or because they work in the Market Yard. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of business. We start work early in the morning when the sun comes up and we don't finish until the work is done. It’s hard work, but we like being our own bosses. We keep things simple and try to be honest in everything we do. It’s what we know and we’re used to the long days on Chandlodia Road.
