Wadikar Fabrication Engineering Works

You can find our fabrication shop at Plot No.1 on Wakad Road. We are right across from the City Pride Hospital in Pimple Nilakh. It’s a good spot because people can find us easily without getting lost. We do a lot of welding and making iron gates or window grills for the houses around here. The sound of the welding machine is something you get used to after a while, though it bothers the neighbors sometimes. I started this shop after working for a big company and realizing I wanted to be my own boss. It’s hard work and the sparks fly everywhere. We have to wear these heavy masks all day and it gets sweaty. The shop floor is usually a bit of a mess with metal scraps and welding rods lying around. We aren't a corporate office, just a practical workshop with grease on the walls. Sometimes we are working late into the night to finish a gate for a customer who needs it the next day. The traffic on Wakad Road is always loud, but we just keep our heads down and work. We don't have a big marketing team or a sales office. Most of our work comes from people seeing what we made for their neighbors and asking for our number. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the iron, we cut it, we weld it, and we paint it. That’s about it for us. We are just a local engineering works.
