Wada Architects And Interior Designers is based out of a bungalow called Shital, specifically Bungalow No. 19 in Kalptaru Colony (A). We are in the Warje area of Pune, right at the backside of Kakdecity. Working from a bungalow in a colony like Kalptaru gives us a bit of peace and quiet, which is helpful when you are trying to design something or focus on interior layouts. The office feels lived-in and comfortable, which we think helps the creative process more than a stiff office setting. We have lived and worked in Pune for a long time, and we have a deep appreciation for the way the city is built. In our office, you will find plenty of sketches, material samples, and half-finished models of projects. We are a small team, and we all pitch in on everything, from the initial sketches to the final site inspections. Warje is a growing area, and being near Kakdecity means we are close to a lot of new developments. We don't go in for big marketing or polished presentations. We prefer to just sit down with a cup of tea and talk through a plan. Sometimes we are out on-site all day, getting dusty and dealing with contractors, and other days we are stuck here at our desks. It is a balanced life of designing and doing, and we are happy to be doing it from our little corner in Kalptaru Colony. It is just how we run things here.
