About Vishwatmak Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Pune
You can find Vishwatmak Architect at Erandwane 9. It’s an older building, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the walls are thick. The office has a certain smell to it, mostly old paper and maybe a bit of damp when it rains outside. We have a couple of drafting boards that we still use, even though everything is supposed to be on computers now. It just feels better to draw things out by hand sometimes. The desks are crowded with calculators, rulers, and half-empty cups of cold tea. There’s a big map of the local area pinned to the wall, though some of the corners are starting to curl. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just some sturdy wooden chairs that have been here as long as the firm has. The neighborhood is fairly busy, so there’s always something to see out the window if you need a break from looking at floor plans. Most of our work is just dealing with the day-to-day details of building stuff around here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or waiting for prints to come out of the machine. It’s a bit of a messy place, but we know where everything is, mostly. The door sticks a bit in the monsoon, so you have to give it a good shove to get inside. It’s just how things are here, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the space over the years. We just keep our heads down and get on with the drawings.
