S + A Design Studio

Our little space is S + A Design Studio. We are located at Shop No. D-03, right near Gate No. 5 in Empire Estate. It’s a bit of a walk if you don't know the gates, but once you find us, it’s a quiet enough corner to get work done. We spend most of our hours here at the desks, looking at drawings or talking about how things should look. It’s not a huge studio, but it fits us just fine. Sometimes the coffee runs out, or the printer acts up, but we manage. The sunlight comes in through the front window in the mornings, which is nice. We started this because we liked making things, and now we just do it as our job. People from the estate stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask a question. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. Just a few chairs and our computers. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office. We like being near Gate No. 5 because it’s easy for deliveries to find us. Empire Estate is a big place, so we’re glad to have this specific spot. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever project is currently on the table. The walls are mostly bare except for some sketches we taped up months ago. Working at Shop No. D-03 is basically our second home. We just want to finish the work we have.
