My legal practice is located at 1096/10 in Shivaji Nagar. I’ve been an advocate and consultant for a while now, and this office has been my base for a good chunk of that time. Shivaji Nagar is always moving, and you can hear the bikes and cars outside my window throughout the afternoon. It’s not a corporate law firm with glass walls and expensive art. It’s just a practical space where I can sit down and look through cases. The bookshelves are pretty full and there’s always a stack of documents on the corner of my table that needs attention. I spend a lot of time reading and drafting things. Sometimes clients come in looking a bit worried, and we just sit and talk through their situation. I don't use a lot of fancy legal jargon if I can help it. I’d rather people actually understand what’s going on with their files. The building itself is older, and the stairs can be a bit steep, but it’s a solid place to work. I don't have a huge staff, just a couple of people who help me keep the records straight. We stay busy with court dates and meetings, so there’s not much downtime. I try to keep the atmosphere here honest and straightforward. It’s just about doing the job properly and helping the folks who walk through that door at 1096/10.
