Vinayak Netralaya

Our clinic is located on Paud Road, right at Vinayak 128/1b. It’s a very busy road so there’s always a lot of noise from the cars and rickshaws outside. We deal with eyes here. People come in with blurry vision or they just need a regular checkup for their glasses. The waiting room gets pretty full on Monday mornings. Sometimes the testing machine acts up and we have to wait for the technician to come out and fix it. It is just part of the daily job. We've been in this specific spot for some time now. Most of our staff lives nearby so we usually walk or take the bus to get in. It’s not a giant hospital like the ones downtown. It feels more like a local neighborhood clinic. We try to keep the chairs in the lobby comfortable, though they are getting a bit old. The lights inside are very bright because we need to see exactly what we are doing with the exams. We talk to people about their lenses or their surgery options every day. Sometimes it’s just a simple case of dry eyes. It gets quite dusty being so close to the main road so we’re always wiping down the glass counters. We don't have any marketing team or anyone doing ads. People just know where we are because we've been here so long. Paud Road has changed a lot with new buildings but we’re still right here in the same place.
