Paranjpe Vision Care

We are situated right on Fergusson College Road at Paranjpe Vision Care. You can find us at 1225/D, which is inside the Oxford Heritage building, specifically R H 73. It’s right across from where Venus Traders is, so most locals know exactly where we are talking about. The shop is filled with rows of frames and the smell of lens cleaning fluid. We spend a lot of time adjusting nose pads and tightening those tiny screws that always seem to fall out. It’s a bit of a tight space when three or four people are looking for glasses at the same time, but we make it work. Outside, FC Road is always buzzing with students from the college and people shopping. Sometimes the noise from the traffic comes right through the door, but we are used to it by now. We have been in the Karnik Heritage area for quite a bit. Every morning, we wipe down the mirrors and organize the displays. It’s mostly just us chatting with people who can't see the chart on the wall very well. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the usual stuff you'd expect in an eye place. Sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's slow, and we just sit and watch the people go by on the sidewalk. It's a nice spot to be in, even if the parking around here is a nightmare for everyone who visits the shop and tries to find a spot.
