Vinayak Hospital

Our hospital is situated at 103-104 Rahul Inclave, right along the Mumbai-Bangalore Highway in the Warje area. Because we are so close to the highway, we hear the trucks and cars zooming by all day and night. It is a very specific spot in Warje. The building is part of a larger complex and we have a couple of units there. It is not the biggest hospital, but we use the space as well as we can. The entrance is right off the main road which makes it easy to find but hard to park sometimes. We have the usual setup with a front desk and some waiting benches. Most of our staff lives nearby in the Warje area, so they just walk or take a scooter to work. We deal with a lot of different cases because of the highway traffic. It is a lot of standing and moving around for everyone who works here. The walls are a bit scuffed from the stretchers moving past. We do not mind it much. It is a working hospital, not a hotel. We have a small pantry where we make tea and eat our tiffins. The light in the afternoon can be quite bright through the front windows. We just keep things moving, discharging people and taking new ones in. It is a practical place for medical needs in this part of Mumbai-Bangalore Highway.
