Vikrant Freight Carriers & Associates

Operating out of unit 16 in the Nishighanda Apartment in Nigidi, we’ve been handling freight for a good long time. It’s a quiet enough residential building, but our office stays pretty active with the logistics side of things. Vikrant Freight Carriers & Associates isn’t a huge operation with hundreds of people. It’s just a handful of us sitting at desks, surrounded by files and maps. We spend most of our time on the phone, tracking where a load is or trying to figure out why a truck is delayed. It gets stressful when things don't go as planned, which happens more often than you’d think in this business. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and see us working. The furniture is old, and the printer occasionally jams when we’re in a hurry to get a receipt out. Nigidi is a decent place to be based, even if the commute can be a bit much sometimes. We focus on getting the job done without making a big fuss about it. We’ve got some associates we work with to cover more ground, but the core of the work happens right here in the apartment office. It’s practical work for practical people. We don't use big words or try to sound like something we aren't. We just move freight and try to keep everyone satisfied with how it gets handled. There is always a lot of paperwork to file before we head home.
