If you go down to Chinchwad near the Dange Chowk area, we are located at 29 Laxmitara Market on Tathwade Road. It is a very crowded corner of the world. There is always someone shouting or a motorbike zooming past the front door. At Aakash Packing & Shipping Co, we spend most of our working hours surrounded by rolls of tape and piles of cardboard. The smell of new boxes is always in the air here. We keep a lot of our supplies stacked high against the walls. It makes the office feel a bit small, but it works for our needs. People walk in from the Laxmitara market all the time to ask about rates or just to see what we do. We have been here on Tathwade Road for a good long time. The traffic at Dange Chowk can be a real headache in the evenings. We try to get most of our loading done before the heavy rush hits the street. Our staff is just a few local guys who know how to wrap things tight so they do not break. We do not use any fancy computers for everything, mostly just a big ledger and some pens. It gets noisy with the market crowd right outside the door. We drink a lot of chai to keep ourselves going. It is a plain business. We just pack things up and see them off to wherever they need to go. Every day is pretty much the same routine for us. It is just what we do.
