Vikas Agarwal

Vikas Agarwal has this place over in Dwarika Nagari, which is part of the Kasarwadi area in Pune. It’s a fairly quiet spot compared to the main roads. Most mornings start with the sound of the neighbors moving about and the birds in the few trees we have nearby. The office itself is just a regular room with some shelves and a couple of computers. It’s not some big corporate setup, just a place where things get handled. Vikas is usually here early, sorting through papers or talking on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just sit and wait or talk until it comes back on. Pune weather is usually okay, but it gets dusty when the wind picks up around Kasarwadi. We keep a small stove for making tea because it’s better than going out every time. The floor is tiled but has some cracks from years of use. We don't really notice them anymore. It’s just the way the building is. People drop by sometimes to deliver packages or just to check on things. We have a lot of files stacked up in the corner that probably need a better system, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical way of working. No need for anything fancy when you’re just trying to get through the daily list of chores and tasks.
