Vijayanand Roadlines Ltd is located at Phursungi, specifically plots 163/164. Even though the name has "Ltd" at the end, we still run things like a regular family-style business. The office is situated in a busy area where there’s always something happening. We have a fair amount of space at 163 and 164, which is good because things can get crowded when multiple trucks are back. Most of our day is spent staring at schedules and talking to people on the mobile. It’s a lot of back and forth, trying to make sure the timings work out. Phursungi has its own pace, and we’ve learned to work with it over the years. We don't have a big fancy entrance or any of that. Just some chairs for the drivers to sit on while they wait for their papers. We drink a lot of coffee and tea to stay awake during the busy shifts. Sometimes things go wrong—a truck breaks down or a road is closed—and we just have to figure it out on the fly. There’s no manual for that, just experience. The guys in the office have been together for a long time, so we don't have to explain much to each other. We just know who is doing what. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but we’ve built a decent life here in this part of Phursungi.
