Our place is right at Modern Chowk in Nana Peth, which is probably one of the busiest intersections you’ll find in this part of Pune. If you know Nana Peth, you know it’s always crowded with vehicles and people moving back and forth. We’ve been set up here for a bit, dealing with the daily bustle of the market area. The office isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical space where we can talk to people and keep our records organized. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up well enough for now. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors, some just looking for directions and others coming specifically to see us. It gets quite loud outside with the horns and the street vendors, but once you’re inside, it settles down a little. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in our ledgers. Being near Modern Chowk means we never really have a dull moment. We try to keep the chairs tidy for visitors, though the dust from the road is a constant battle. It’s a simple operation we’re running here. No big corporate offices or anything like that, just a local spot in the heart of the city where we do our daily work. We show up, open the shutters, and see who the day brings in. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood where we try to stay organized.
