Varmen India Strategy Partners is based in Pune, specifically in Nanded City. We are in the Sargam building, flat B1802. Since we are up on the 18th floor, we get a pretty good view of the whole township. Nanded City is a bit out of the main Pune chaos, which we really appreciate. It’s a quiet place to work. We are a small LLP focused on strategy work. That sounds a bit high-end, but we are actually a very down-to-earth group. We spend most of our time looking at data and planning things out. Our office is just a regular flat that we’ve set up with desks and a lot of whiteboards. We have markers and papers scattered around most of the time. We aren't interested in corporate polish or looking like a big firm. We just want to do good work for the people we partner with. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is easy. We have a small kitchen area where we make our own snacks and tea. It’s a very informal environment. We don’t have any set mission statements on the walls. We just know what we need to do each day and we get on with it. We’ve been in the Haveli area for some time and we like the pace of life here. It’s steady and predictable. We just keep working on our projects and trying to find the best way forward.
