Down in Pimple Gurav, near the Kismangal Karyalai, you will find us at V N Relocation Logistic. We spend most of our time in Anand Nagar when we aren't out on the road. Moving stuff is hard work, and there is no way around that. We spend our mornings loading up tapes, bubble wrap, and stacks of corrugated boxes into the back of the trucks. Our backs usually ache by the end of the week, but that’s just part of the job. We see a lot of families moving from one house to another, and their whole lives are packed into the crates we carry. Sometimes the stairs are narrow or the elevators aren't working, and we just have to figure out how to get the heavy sofa down without hitting the walls. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sweating, especially in the afternoon sun. We keep our office pretty basic because we are hardly ever sitting in it anyway. There’s always a bit of dust on the furniture and a stray roll of packing tape sitting on the counter. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. People just drop by or call us when they need to move their things. We try to be careful with the glass and the TVs, but it’s a physical job and things are always moving. We just keep going until the last box is inside the new place and the truck is empty.
