Vijay Transport Corporation

Vijay Transport Corporation is based out of Pimpri, right near Nehru Nagar. We have our little spot at Prasuntara 66. It is mostly a desk, some chairs, and a lot of logbooks stacked up. My brother and I started this because we knew a few drivers who needed steady work. Now we have trucks going out every morning. Pimpri is a busy area for industrial stuff, so there is always something needing to be moved. It’s not an easy job. You have to deal with traffic, broken axles, and drivers who sometimes disappear for a day. We spend a lot of time on the phone making sure things actually arrive. Vastu Udyog is just around the corner, so it stays quite hectic with all the heavy vehicles moving through the narrow parts. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just call us or walk into the office when they have a load to move. Sometimes the tea stall next door is where most of the business talk happens. It's dusty and loud, but we like the pace of it. If a truck gets stuck in the rain, we stay up late until it's sorted. We've been in this building for years and know all the neighbors. It’s just a regular transport business trying to keep things moving without too much trouble. We don't have fancy uniforms, just some hard-working people trying to make a living.
