Universal Manufacturing Co

Universal Manufacturing Co is based at 520/2 in the Kelawade area, right near Colaba Causeway. If you know the Causeway, you know how busy and crowded it gets with tourists and shops. We are a bit different because we are focused on the manufacturing side of things. Our daily life involves a lot of noise from the machinery and the constant movement of materials. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, given the location, but we make it work. The staff here is a small group of people who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning in every corner. It’s a real manufacturing floor where things get made. We spend our hours checking parts and fixing things when they break. Colaba is a vibrant place to be, even if the traffic makes getting supplies in and out a bit of a challenge. We don't bother with corporate slogans because we don't really see the point. We just want to make sure the products are made correctly and the bills are paid. It is a gritty, honest way to make a living, and we are okay with that. The building itself has some character, much like the rest of the street. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It might not be pretty, but it is what we do.
