Kirloskar Neumatic Co. Ltd

Down here at Hadapsar Indl Est, things are usually pretty loud and busy. We are Kirloskar Neumatic Co. Ltd and our days are mostly filled with the sounds of machinery and the smell of metal and oil. It’s an industrial area, so there isn’t much in the way of scenery, just a lot of sheds and trucks moving in and out all day long. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor checking on the equipment and making sure the parts are moving like they should. It gets quite hot under the tin roofs in the afternoon, but we are used to it by now. The tea breaks are the best part of the day when we can sit for a minute and just talk about regular stuff before getting back to the pneumatic tools and compressors. We aren't really the type to sit in fancy offices. Most of us have grease on our hands by lunch time anyway. It’s honest work and we’ve been in this part of Pune for a long time. People around here know us as the place where things actually get built. We don't have a lot of time for formalities because there is always another order to finish or a machine that needs a bit of looking after. It’s just how life is in an industrial estate like Hadapsar, and we wouldn't really know what to do with ourselves in a quiet office.
